Frenchman Bay Oral History Project

Project Background
Beginning in the summer of 2022, the Frenchman Bay Oral History Project documents the lived experiences and observations of folks with extensive knowledge of Frenchman Bay. These interviews are used to share information with the public in the form of maps and other public exhibits/visualizations.
Project Aims:
Students engaged in this project will add to the oral history archive of the Frenchman Bay Oral History Project. Working with assets created by Tiegan Paulson, Katie Culp, and Camden Hunt, your work will add perspectives through interviews, coding, and archiving. This project culminates in an exhibit in summer/fall 2024, students will create proposals and aspects of that exhibit as part of final project work for the course.
Students can choose a specific area to focus their interviews and work.

Data
There is an existing framework, ERRB, coding method, and interview source list for this project. You will work with existing data and within the framework of the Frenchman Bay Oral History Project.
